Her Code Programme

Introduction

Our Her Code Programme aims to provide young girls (8 – 18 years old) with the required skills to access and engage with the tech domain.

Drawing on the expertise and experience of AspireHer, our team of mentors delivers a 12-week training programme to develop a digital product addressing a community need.

The curriculum empowers girls to solve problems using technology. Working in teams, girls find a problem in their community and build a mobile app to help solve it. Whilst developing the app, our mentors help their teams upskill their collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Technovation <> AspireHer

Her Code is a Technovation Girls Chapter in the UK that equips young girls with critical skills in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Inspired by the Technovation Girls curriculum, this programme provides a structured, hands-on approach to learning, fostering creativity and confidence.

We solve problems using technology. We find problems in our communities and build a technology solution to help solve them. Along the way, we develop collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
